Today I had a very negative experience at this location and I am beyond upset! I am looking after my sisters 18lb Bichon pup and had to stop at this very busy gas station to pick up something. She had dropped him off at my work in Markham and I was on route home to Whitby. It was 28 degrees out, feeling like 36, so not wanting to leave him in the car I carried him in. I was immediately told he couldn’t be in there. I stated it was very hot out and didn’t want to leave him in the car and just wanted to quickly pick something up. I was told repeatedly 3 more times he couldn’t be in there and to leave and I couldn’t purchase anything with him in the station! This is extremely offensive as one would not leave a child in a car in that heat! He is a small dog in my arms and quite as a mouse. He wasn’t disturbing anyone or bothering anyone, he was in my arms very quiet, so what was the problem? I had 2 customers that were in line during this come ask me if they could purchase what I needed and thank goodness they did as I needed something with sugar to regulate my diabetes or I would have passed out! Now what does that say….it says no one was bothered by the dog but were upset enough that they felt enough to seek me out in the parking lot to help! I was in a health crisis and your employee was so focused on the dog in my arms that nothing else mattered! Did I have to explain my health issue in front of 6-10 customers? Like really! What kind of customer service is that? I have worked in the customer service industry for 40 years and the service I received was so very disappointing! Just so you know, in heat like that a dog can go into heat distress in a car within 5-6 minutes, so I wasn’t leaving him in there! Seriously beyond disappointed with that service today nbthis day and age of full acceptance!
***** INDRA **** RUDEEEEEE I have been coming to this location for the last three years and never had a problem with any of the employees “”””””” INDRA “”””” The only employee when I walked in, was on her personal cell phone …. Time 9:17am The funny thing is she stayed on her cell phone the whole time I was there trying to talk to her, trying to have a conversation with her. She wouldn’t get off the phone when we got to the counter she put her phone on the side still running, I felt Disrespected On top of that I paid with my credit card $25 and then when I wanted to ask her for a bag that she never offered me before she wanted to charge me 10 more cents on my credit I have never had that problem before over .10 cents ….. You guys lost a very loyal customer People like INDRA SHOULD NOT BE WORKING IN CUSTOMER SERVICE
Absolutely rude and racist.My truck broke down in the parking lot instead of having the 6 ton truck towed cuz its not in my budget i worked On fuel filters in the parking lot only to face complete racist comments and judgmeit's almost like the mosque let out and there's a swarm of mosquitoes sucking blood... The young chap who is the manager, not the owner, the son of the owner.He is absolutely rude and ridiculous.Put on a fake mask but it has a real bad temper. Ridiculous service ridiculous prices.Ridiculous ridiculous ridiculous ridiculous, Do I forget to mention the amount of people who are buying beer and liquor and drinking while driving or consuming the alcohol in the parking lot and carrying on their merry way?As if nothing matters, this place is ridiculous.The cops should permanently sit outside this gas station to watch the people that purchased the liquor from here
Absolutely rude and useless... I'm a plumber by trade.I asked multiple times about the bathroom.Been told that it's a septic issue.Have you asked multiple times get the owners information... Only to be greeted with rude answers. Witness their air pump yesterday, get repossessed funny they will say it was broken but 30mins befor that i used it and it was fine... they didnt pay the company for the pump rental. And can't help but notice a bit of racism in a few of their employees cuz im white... also attempted to Land a contract for yard maintenance but they're too lazy or don't care. Also witnessed their employees throwing trash into the yard in the back.These people do not care.It is a complete dump
Never come to this gas station anymore. The gas price higher than nearby other gas stations. After getting 100 gas. The Lazy Worker has bad customer service and doesn't allow the customer to use the washroom because he doesn't want to clean the washroom. The beers store and L.C.B.O are fake. There is no option to buy. Don't come to this gas station
Keep driving by this place. They call themselves a beer store however last two times I went in they do not have beer. I needed fuel - first two pumps do not accept a card, have to go in and pay. When I got a pump that did accept my card the machine was out of paper to print a receipt so I still had to go in to face a cashier who was annoyed I wanted a receipt. The place is a dump.
Gas, beer and LCBO. Nice people have reopened this location. Lottery too. Nothing else around. It's been a welcome site for many people over the years - saving journeys into town for gas etc.!!! (I think this place is a public service, don't you? It's a long way to the nearest gas station, beer retailer and LCBO and here you have them all min one.)
